Tiger bead

I am so happy my first pandora style bead I made from polymer clay has just sold on an auction site, It is a gorgeous bead, I should have kept it lol, as I cannot make another one the same as you know with polymer clay, everything is unique. Anyway I just thought I would share.

I got myself a pasta roller today, It was a bargain too reduced down from $60 to $35 and a really heavy good quality one, and it is in go fast red to boot lol. So am busy trying to figure out how to do the skinner blend lol, it is harder than it looks, I cant for the life of me figure out wich way to fold it, but I have in the process made some nice little roll canes , I am sure they will get used for something.
Ok back to the colour blending I wont let it beat me I tells I wont lol.

Cheers Debra Missy Muffits Crafts.

I am in clay cane heaven...

I just got my latest ebay purchase this morning.
Isnt it wonderful. Canes and canes of gorgeous clay canes, flowers and more flowers, I am not good at making flower canes yet, I am at making animal and safari prints, I tend to start out making a flower and end up with an animal print, (I have no Idea how that happens lol)

Anyway I thought I would share these canes with you all, They are from a wonderful seller in Israel, and only took about two weeks to get to Australia, and they are not even squished, she did the best job of packaging them.

I have sliced a few and can't wait to start making some beads and things with them, The green leaves you see scattered amongst them is one of my canes, I intend to put the green leaves with some of her flowers for a garden spring type feel, as it is winter here and very dull and drab outside.
So I hope you enjoyed seeing my latest purchase, once I make something with them I will show you all I promise lol.

Cheers for today we have a guest coming to stay for a week or so, so I have to go freshen up the guset room and change the sheets for him.

Bye for now Deb from Missy Muffits Crafts Australia.

Pandora's Box at Missy Muffits

The latest craze sweeping the world of jewellery is the pandora, biagi, troll beads etc.

Well being a resourceful person I decided to make my own beads lol.
They are not so hard to make and as far as I know I am the only person worldwide that is making them from polymer clay, I can not find any elsewhere on the net or the auction sites.

I have sold quite a few bracelets so far, and am getting an accumulation of charms and chains, so I am ready for the orders to come flooding in lol. I have only been making these for about two weeks............
If you are interested in one just email me and leave a message here on the blog for me. I check it everyday.

Some pics of the ones I have made so far. This one I call Outback Dreams (Above Left), and is made from polymer clay canes I made.

The next one(Above Middle) is an order for a lady for her daughters 18th, I also made matching earrings to go with this one. I call this one purple pashion.

The next one (Above top right)is not pandora style, but I really like the way it turned out, I used fimo granite for this one, I have not used fimo before so this was my first experience with it, I think I like it lol, I am loving the colours it comes in.
I call this one, Rock Solid...

And above (Top Left) is another special order, it is in purple and pink, I do have a better pic of it, but I love this one, with the smokey look, so I will call this one Purple Haze...

Well I am off to make more, for the orders that I have at the moment. If you like them let me know, it is good to get feedback on things, so you know you are on the right track.

Night for now, Debra form Missy Muffits Crafts.

Welcome

I am an artist, and have been all my life, even as a small child I used to enter any colouring in competition that was going. I even won a prize once in the sun herald sunbeamers (Remember that) all you baby boomers lol.

I love to use oil paint, pastels, fabric and my new love is polymer clay, I love this stuff.
It is so forgiving and you can make any colour imaginable.

Jewellery is my first love with this wonderful meduim, and I hope to be able to share some of my creations here with you daily.
This large focal is from a few canes I made, I just love the green with the autumn brown colours, so vivid and imaginative, brings a nice crisp feel to dull old autumn, though saying that this season is certainly anything but dull, with its vibrant yellow and red, brown and gold. Nature sure puts on a show for us this time of year.

I live in a large country town in Regional NSW Australia I am half way to 100 and have one son and one grandson, oh and a long suffering hubby, that puts up with art and craft stuff taking over the whole house, as you all know so well lol.

I have a large craft room, but it is in the process of being turned into a shop, I cant wait..:)

OK back to creating.............:)

Bye for now, I hope you enjoy my designs.

Debra.
